SOBI ITP : No Bad Blood : Social films

Building awareness for rare disease is difficult. ITP is a blood disorder that causes the body to attack its own blood cells and results in a drop in platelet levels, meaning one’s ability to clot is diminished. Yet it only affects 3,000 - 4,000 people a year in the UK. However, when you have access to patient communities that care and are fiercely dedicated to spreading the message, so that others may have an improved quality of life, the work can be extraordinary.
Presenting ‘No Bad Blood’, filmed in collaboration with three defiant people, Rhona, Dale and Ella, all living with ITP. Their stories inspired us so much they allowed us to film them, so that others may see there is life beyond diagnosis.
